Popped open my jar of 5 y/o sugar crystal flecked Stonehaven to give the two tone Dragon Scale Rhodesian with smooth top and fishtail stem by Spanish pipe maker Jose Rubio its baptism, mmmm definitely the right choice, keep it smokey.

I absolutely love Spain. I've been looking to buy a pipe that's made from there. I'm going to look into that maker. Thanks!

<p>Today while it rained I asked my friend Jane about pipes from Spain. She said while some were plain it really depends on the stain which can be insane, depending on the level of artists skill. While some use their brains, others go insane and still others abstain from artist expressions. Some artists have used cocaine in an effort release the passion, restrained from years of containment. Carvers in Spain are inspired by Danes and those from the Ukraine and their ingrained ability to showcase the briars grain and the detail attained isn't mundane showcasing flame grain in their pipes with sustained effort. The carving business can seem arcane when pertinent talents obtained by those who've abstained or maintained a constrained talent for pipes. Those who can't contain the PAD campaign and are entertaining obtaining a pertinent pipe from Spain can contact Banjo

If I may deign to explain the complexities of the stain as it pertains to the cellular membrane.

Blather, rinse, repeat.

Do it nice and neat.

Use contrast,

light colors last,

The grain will look so sweet.
Nice pipe right there, fishbanjo! To call it a Rhodesian though? Seems a stretch. I'd love to see more pics of that piece.

As someone with deep Spanish roots, Asturian the same as Jose Rubio´s, I feel oblige to say this to you.
You are a complete ignorant. Carvers in Spain taken inspiration by being "high", I am sure that you glorify and praise your Dunhill Collection very high?

samrvior, Please don't take offense at what Nate wrote he was teasing me by making my subject similar to The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain. Knowing how highly he thinks of workmanship I know he would be delighted to own a pipe by a Spanish maker, I have one by Jose Rubio and a very special Morta by Sabina Santos and their workmanship is fabulous I will continue to seek other makers from Spain, warmest regards.

I admit I don't associate Spain with pipe making at all, though I would have guessed that they have some artisans in-country. No factory pipes that I know of, though educate me if I'm wrong. This is certainly an elegant introduction to Spanish artisanal pipes. Fish' as always finds the primo choice cookers. Lookin' superb.

I was just rhyming. Not making a commentary on Spanish pipes. You seriously read that and thought me serious? Read it out loud... I don't take myself seriously and neither should you.

And thanks banjo! You are EXATLY correct!

... I'm just referring back to the original post and photo ... sorry to be a little deadpan here ... I like the rhyme fest! Just going back to being (too) earnest.

I am glad you pointed it out, my turn now. I did not catch the double meaning... and neither none of you; When I referred to Dunhills... But that is for another time.
Let the smokes rise thick and high!
