This amusing little article is gonna generate a lot of laughs in the Cortez household. The comments of how I justify

my TAD by balancing it against Mrs. Cortez' SAD (shoe acquisition disorder) are legendary in the forums.

Now I can (ahem) shoe-horn Chinese philosophy into the conversation.
In the complementary principles of Chinese philosophy the Yin is negative, dark, feminine, (and evidently shoe-oriented);

the Yang is positive, bright, masculine (and evidently pipe oriented). It's a perfect fit! :rofl:
Their interaction is thought to maintain the harmony of the universe and to influence everything within it
