Iwan Ries & Co. in Chicago traces its start to 1857. A visit is on my bucket list along with a trip to the Chicagoland Pipe Collectors Club Show. In the meantime I like to check out their website. I picked up this super cool pipe ashtray with old school cork knocker for only $50. I thought other pipe smokers may be interested, too.

Monday to Wednesday - 10:00 am to 10:00 pm
Thursday to Friday - 10:00 am to Midnight Sharp
Saturday - 11:00 am to Midnight Sharp
Sunday - 11:00 am to 6 pm


Kind of reminds me of the old Oak Ridge Boys song, “You Don’t Have to Go Home (But You Can’t Stay Here).

They were a mere 110 years old when I discovered them while attending some class at Northwestern's Traffic Institute. I've been a fan ever since.
