I am waiting for my contractor to finish my garage which will have a library over it for my stuff. A sort of glorified den but not a man cave 28X36. Anyway, I had been taking things out of my storage bins as time went by waiting since last July. As I did they would go in my office. This weekend wife went into the office to get something and I got an ear full of that damn pipe crap is everywhere, do something. So in the mean time I bought a cheap bookcase until the library is done and everything can come out of bins and play.
Not bad for quick work.

Sorry PiH, surely you can do better than that with those lovely pipes, instead of that dog's breakfast - pfft, men, no idea!!! :)

Aussielass, you just don't understand men. This is only step two. First, wait for wife to get annoyed. Second, buy a half solution to organize the tobacco. Of course she will also be disappointed that the pipes are disorgainized. (Obviously Pipeinhand has a tall wife, otherwise he would not have put the disorgainized pipes on the top shelf) Now the final step. She will still be stressed, so as a great husband, he will buy that new pipestand he wants, to bring peace to the family again. Why is he doing this, because he loves his wife.
Let me know if you need anything else explained.

You nailed it Winton, except she is 5'3", so the top shelf is invisible to her.
Di, good thing you can't see the storage bins, the rest are just wrapped in paper and plopped in.
@spartin, need the books, (some more coming) to keep it from falling over. Hmmm, I could just unpack a few more bins... :puffy:
When the library is done, I get a wall with clips to hold them, oooo, I get goose bumps just thinking about it.

LMAO Winton, he's gonna need more than "a stand" to fix that lot! If I was his better half, he'd be shipped off to a woodworking course instantly, learning how to make cabinets (with dovetails of course) and making a large wall-mounted one to put all those valuable heirlooms in.
Once he'd perfected the art of that, I'd have him churning them out for sale so that the funds he made would support his vile PAD habit. Hmm, no wonder I single :)
