Can't Leave
An extremely subjective value judgment, I know, but I just saw this one by googling around for a few minutes to kill some time. The Chacom Atlas 262 in yellow. Click here.
Next time I have something to celebrate, I will try to commemorate it with the purchase of one of these.

It is neat, just not my bag. I just cant get over the banana yellow. If you do pick one up, be sure to post on it briarfriar. Thanks for sharing, too.

That is quite a beauty to look upon. I have an aversion to heavily varnished pipes, however, because any pipe I have tried that was coated smoked hot. I have a Butz Choquin that I only smoke outside in winter because of that. I cannot bring myself to strip it because it looks so nice.

A member here posted a Chacom he found that he fell in love with -- the damn thing was GREEN. Sounds awful, right?
Uh hem...That was me and yes I love my many Chacoms. You can see them all below. If all goes well in the next week I will have two more with cumberland stems. While I am not a fan of the pipes in the OPs post I like how varied the pipes Chacoms offers are. None of mine are filtered or have a stinger.
Briarfriar, if you really like the pipe you posted, look into the Savinelli Honey or Tortuga lines. They are similar and much easier to get on this side of the pond. (Plus, hald the reason I like Chacom is because they are some what under the radar. I have to stop raving about them on here.) All but one of my Chacoms I have received as estates. The Chacom Pipe of the Year (Silver Band with Cumberland stem in pic) I got new from smokingpipes. Most of their less traditional shapes are not very well stocked in North America.

I really like the stem work on that pipe. Anything that replicates the old original Amber stems is pretty nice IMO. I'd be willing to say that the pipe will darken and color nicely with some age and a bit of smoking. The bright yellow leaves a bit to be desired in my liking though. CC is a fine smoking pipe at very reasonable cost with some intriguing shapes and colors for sure. Made in St. Claude, France where briar pipe making history started. Go for it, you won't be sorry.
@eaglerico,

Sweet selection you have there. I can see that you know how to get the most out of your hard earned $$ buying Chacom pipes, can't go wrong IMO. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Doc. With the hopefully two new additions, I will complete my 7 day set of Chacoms. All but two will be with Cumberland stems.
