When one is getting fire or laid off, it's a sad time. When one is quitting, it can be a happier time. Either way, music can help us with our sensitive times.

What did you play while getting the hell out of that shit hole called job?

Mine was "Take This Job And Shove It!" by David Allan Coe. Had it on my MP3 player, so hooked up to car stereo and enjoyed my ride outta that hell. 25 years. God, that was a lot of shit off my chest. Now, I'm more or less looking to fill my time with helping family, and occasionally driving around for errands. Do miss the work, but I wake up saying "fuck that!"

I've been let go a couple of times in corporate takeovers and then I retired. No need for music in any of them. I liked all the places at which I was employed.
