Never thought I'd go for an egg shape pipe. They always looked a little balloon-like and not too appealing, but I finally found a Genod with a classic, sort of eighteenth century look, pre-English influence pipe that really appealed to me, a small pipe with an ample bowl. Anyone else have one of these pipes of this outlier shape? They are rarer than acorns, but still crop up, hither and yon. This is the most Francophile looking pipe I've seen, though I have Chacoms, BC's, a Villiard and a Chapuis-Comoy, and a Tinder Box St. Ives that has to be French, probably Chacom. Who makes egg shape on a regular basis? I don't think it's ever been taken up by the English, at least not Dunhill. But I do see them around. The incredible non-edible egg. The good egg. Egg on your chin. Etc.
