Picked up 2 more rather scarce Drip Wax pipes this past week. The first is by VT Pipemaker JT Cooke a bent beauty that I’m keeping smokey with some Butera Royal Vintage Golden Cake.

I know, I’m working on commission with 2 others at this time but have spoken with both Tony and Paul for later work, regards.

Banjo, if you're a dripwax fan then you might want to make contact with Paul Hubartt who trades as 'Larrysson Pipes', not only does he make dripwax pipes he is also to be found on the forum.
In fact going through his gallery I could easily envisage you smoking all of his pipes :puffy:

EDIT: Oops....just read the above

Jay,

Thanks, reiteration is always a good thing it lets others know the work of a Pipemaker being discussed is well received and I own a pipe by Paul and it’s a fine smoker, we had a lengthy series of emails for one in the future, regards.

I really like my wax drip pipes. I've got pipes by Cannoy, Fillenwarth and Larryson. The two Fillenwarth pipes I commissioned and collaborating on the design with Tony was easy and a joy. He's one of those under-the-radar carvers who has been at this for a while and whose pipes are both excellent and affordable.
That Cooke pipe is very cool! I didn't know that he made any of those.
