I'm one who believes in God-given talent. So while most skills could, in theory, be learned at least on some level, some folks just have a natural ability and talent for some things, and it shows in their creative works. There's a level of mastery to this stuff. And it goes beyond even the technical skill of working w/ the tools. You folks who make pipes look at a piece of briar and see the pipe. I can't do that, and I'm not sure it could be taught any more than a master painter could teach me to see a painting in a blank canvas. I admire it!

Didn't I just read on another thread somewhere that YOU CANNOT MAKE PIPES on shop equipment! Came right from the mouth of a pipe expert. That said, beautiful pipe and cat. That olive wood has a nice grain. Give the cat a little scratch on the head for me.

I have my own philosofy on pipe making.

For sure i cook better yet :)

Pipes are like wine ,a lot of experts ,

if someone change the eticetes on the bottles

becoming problems :)
