So I am sitting her watching a auction. The lot of pipes I am interested in is lot 1067. They are currently on lot 78. So I think I am going to play tiddlywinks while trying to count my nose hairs while I wait. Hopefully I will still be conscious when they get to the lot I want. Any suggestions on other activities you can do while waiting at an action?

First off, I'm jealous you found an auction with lots of pipes. Next, is there a way to do an absentee bid with the company. I'd lose my mind waiting for 900+ lots to go thru. Finally, good luck on your auction!

Drinking. It has saved me a ton of money. I have usually been unconscious for the items I wanted to bid on, which has resulted in significant retention of funds.

Given the large number of lots to be worked through you may want to while away the hours by reading War and Peace followed by The Civil War - A Narrative. That should get you within 50 or so of your target lot of No. 1,067.

So I played tiddlewinks by myself for an hour. Only won two games lost the other 43 games. Turns out I have 22 nose hairs. Napped for half an hour, but I think my snoring was scaring the kids. They are on lot 430 only about 600 to go. :puffpipe:
