I've seen the documentary (From Darkness to Light) about it a couple times on TCM.
I think that would make excellent prologue viewing before watching the actual thing.
I'd think it can be accessed somewhere online..

Yeah, it's one of the great unanswered questions in movie history. Is it really as terrible as Jerry thought or is it actually a good/great film?

I knew he'd given some of the footage to The Library Of Congress but it's very restricted who can view it. I honestly thought we'd never ever see a complete cut available to the general public, but now that seems a possibility. The dude who owns the copy is looking to sell and i'm hoping some company steps in and buys it, cleans it up using modern technology and then releases it as a blu ray.

Still a long way before anything like that happens but fingers crossed 🤡🤞
BLU-RAY??
2010 called, they want their technology back. You're so extra!
It's all about steaming now, no cap bro. You're such a boomer.

Sorry, I hang out with my teenage nephews too much.

Definitely not a boomer. Gen-X, mate.

All joking aside, I still believe physical media is the way to go. These streaming services are great until they decide to drop things because they're not politically correct. They've done it with Fawlty Towers, The Office (UK version), Little Britain etc etc.

You just need to know where to look. With Kodi and "Umbrella" or "The Crew", or "Cinema HD" you can watch any movie or TV show that has ever been put to motion picture......for free.....and legally.
With a $3/month Real Debris account you can have it all in 4K with better streams.
Google "Troy Point" for info.
No affiliation. :)
