Been milking this Cob most of the day as I've been interrupted too many times to just enjoy it but keeping it smokey when I have the chance.

You just about can't beat that. I especially like a Va/bur/Cavendish in a cob, but many blends are superb.

The shank and stem are what? hex? I've seen diamond but not hex or octo.

I'll guess it's a Wally Frank?
