Tooooooo subjective.....You may hate my choice. Depends how long someone has been smoking a pipe. Many people really enjoy half and half, I like the taste but that one seems to always bite and I've been smoking a pipe for decades.

I think after years of smoking you have very few that bite you anymore...just comes with experience. I smoke Presbyterian a lot and it's never bit me.

Now if you're talking a tobacco that doesn't seem to bite you no matter if you smoke it like a freight train, Carter Hall comes to mind. YMMV

There’s no one answer to this question. A blend will bite one person and not another.
I enjoy matured red Virginias and others experience a lot of pain with them. Same goes for burley blends.

Right now I’m enjoying some SWRA, mellow nutty and flavorful.
And I enjoy McClelland 40th.

It just depends on how a blend hits you.

No bite at all?
Straight black cavendish
You might die of boredom, but it won’t bite.
Otherwise you are bound to your mouth chemistry. I burn with Virginias. I’ve learned to smoke slowly enough that I can enjoy them, but it takes work. I can smoke the harshest Burley with much less care. Other folks are exactly the opposite.
