The Al Pascia Curvy 01 Natural Is A Delight To Smoke

I have read mixed opinions on the coolness of the smoke and effectiveness of the design as intended. My new pipe is an amazingly cool smoker and it creates billows of smoke to drown within. Maybe my limited experience is with hot pipes but this one is light years cooler than most in my rack.
Tobacco, Sutliffs Medium English mixed with some DBE (25%). Nirvana. I think this may be my favorite tobacco mixture. And it smokes so well in the Curvy.
Last night, I partook of some Blackwoods and it also smoked very well. And I could not see for the smoke.
I highly recommend this pipe. SnowyOwl, thank you for this amazing gift.

I will add one other note, one prominent youtube review said it was not good for Virginia's because of the small size of the pipe...it will bite...etc. No. Just no. I had no issue whatsoever with Virginia. Where do people get these ideas and did he smoke a straight Virginia in the Curvy? I tried to get it to bite but did not happen. Actually I huffed like a train a few for a few minutes and nothing but cool, dry smoke. Oh well...I will try again tomorrow. Maybe with a VaPer..

Damn you Aquadoc. I am all in for a few months, but fortunately Al Pascia seems to have an unlimited supply, I guess I will have to spring for one.

When I return to the employed ranks, I would like to have a few more of these. Maybe my opinion will change but I doubt it. You must like nosewarmers for this is one by every definition.

aquadoc, there are many that say Morta isn't a good medium for VA's and VA/Pers but I find this to be false. Yeah it's a great medium for Latakia and strong tobaccos but if you have a cleansed palate and the pipe has rested for a day or so it will give a very satisfying smoke with VA's and VA/Pers, regards.
