My order of Samuel Gawith Balkan Flake came in from P&C today, and with it a free knife. It's a well made instrument, all-metal, with an easy to deploy, locking blade.
I have quite a few "free" knives that I've acquired by buying too much stuff that I don't really need, but I have to say that this is the nicest one to date. I cut into this plug of Wessex Gold brick and it sliced like butter. Or did I cut into a block of butter and it sliced like Gold Brick? Either way, it will be a great knife to keep on the 'baccy shelf.
I'm not sure what makes it "tactical", maybe because it's black and pointy. Maybe they meant to say "tactile", what with the texture on the sides.

I also received the P&C Rockwell knife and have found it great at slicing blocks of baccy. I keep it with the dozen or so jars that are currently in my rotation. I used it last night to cut off a piece of C&D's Pirate Kake, which is a great smoke by the way. I'll have to use it on a Wessex Gold Brick soon! I've got a couple bricks in my cellar I've been meaning to smoke.

I gave mine to my fiancé's brother. I have a nice Smith & Wesson blade that I carry so I figured someone else could benefit from it more than myself. Decent knife and yeah, it is sharp.

I received mine this week as well, with my 2.5 lb order of GLP Barbary Coast, and the knife is nicer than I expected it to be.

Trailboss, P&C needs to have the words "For Tobacco Preparation Only. Not To Be Used On Human Flesh" stamped on the side.

Then it would be OK in NYC.
In that silly corner of the world, just saying... makes it so.

You guys are making this really hard to not place an order just for the knife.
Here I am convincing myself I need pipe cleaners and more Peterson University Flake for the stash. The knife would be an added bonus to cut my plugs with.

OK, I had no idea that you got a knife with a certain amount ordered, so I was surprised to receive it. Yep, I'll be using that with GLP Gaslight.

Ok, so I'm not THAT much of an idiot. It's a decent knife, and well worth what I paid for it, which is, what? Nada. Go order 2 pounds of PS something, or 5 Wessex Gold Bricks or....

I think they have the right audience with the knife, and it looks like a perfect plug cutter.

Agree, maybe the best free knife I have ever received.
I did not expect it to be at the same level as any of my EDC knives, a Kershaw Speedsafe, or a SOG Flash II, but for free, it is a great tool.

Gosh...I guess the folks at P&C just like me better. Here's what I got with my order:
