Mayfair was recently kind enough to send me a few samples of some blends I haven't tried yet. Two are G&H ropes I've not tried yet, but look forward to because I LOVE Rum Twist. One was Orlik Golden Sliced. I haven't tried that one yet either, but might sometime tonight. And the other was a sample of Penzance.
Penzance... a blend I thought I'd never get around to trying because quite honestly the prices on the stuff can be staggering and it seems that when a retailer has some at regular price "POOF!" it's gone before you can eat a bean and pass gas... I don't know where that bean and gas thing just came from but I'm going with it anyway. About it... It's good! It really is a very enjoyable smoke. Great flavor, great smoke, burns well. It could be an all day every day smoke if you're willing to dish out the money for it. I'm not going to go crazy over it and blow my paycheck on it, but I do like it. And I'm very glad I finally got the chance to try it. So Mayfair, thank you buddy. I'll be trying the other samples soon.
