Tankards vs Stacks

A recent post about stacks got me thinking about how much difference is there really between a Tankard and a Stack, in my thought I'd kind of go with not much save the shape, I find both smoke nearly the same what say you?

I hear what you mean but both my Tsuge Tankard and my vintage Peterson Tankard are merely stretched bowls, not overly large as the bore is consistent with say a billiard or pot of the same outside diameter.
