Since it's still wild out I thought I'd bring the wildest and next to the last Talbert pipe out. This is not only wild looking the makeup of the works is very wild as well.
The bowl of this scarce Signature Grade Talbert Pipe is briar and is either a stretched Dublin or a Lily of some type, I never really got the full skinny on it in my correspondence with Trever. The base of the pipe is Boxwood with a briar insert for where the Stem mates into the pipe. Sandwiched between the Briar and the Boxwood is Meerschaum made into a cup shape that finds its way into the Boxwood.
This is a fun pipe to look at and a smoker of the finest quality. I decided to enjoy one of my favorite tobaccos to keep it smokey and that is Esoterica Tilbury.
