I'm looking for something sweet and nutty. I have tried Butternut Burley and that was ok. Just wondering what else is out there.

Uhle's Tobacco Company has some great burleys. Blend 00 and Perfection Plug Burley are two favorites of mine. More nutty than sweet. Think "high end" codgers.

Also, Storm Front is another nutty, sweet(ish) burley with some cigar leaf to give it a little muscle.

Finally, Carter Hall is a perennial favorite. I smoke it almost every morning.

I loves me some WCC Deluxe Crumb Cut!

Haunted Bookshop is another option but you have to keep it cool.

The WCC is a very forgiving blend.
Shane, Didn’t want to mention HB as some find it ashy & cigarette-like. However, it’s a delightful semi-sweet blend with just the right amount of spice. For me, it’s like smoking lightly brown sugared crushed walnuts with pings of spice throughout…my favorite all day blend. ?☕

Exactly! If I keep it cool I get that sugary goodness but if I get it too hot the cigarette-ness.

Being a burley devotee, I'm trying to think how burley is sweet in itself. It is certainly the base tobacco for many aromatics with sweet flavorings, but sweet in itself, I don't know. It has a nutty earthy flavor that is so good, it is as good as something sweet, but to me, not sweet in itself. Maybe I'll try the PS cubed and see.

Does the PS Cube cut also get ciggareteish if smoked too fast? I'm thinking I'd like to give some burley heavy blends a go, but pacing is solidly represented in the book of stuff I'm not great at.

I wouldnt say cigaretteish by any means, but it can bite a little if pushed too fast. That's just the sugar in the virginia, and i believe most peter stokkebye tobacco has a light sugar water topping. If you want sweet with your nutty though, you'll have to contend with the bite of virginias, or go aromatic.

P.S., Haunted Bookship will be reminiscient of a cigarette at first because of the white burley. Took me a few months to get into it but I no longer taste cigarette
