I’ve had this little 4 digit apple kicking around for a while, it belonged to a deceased relative so I wanted to try and save it. The original stem was bit through and the stinger was clipped off. I detest clipped stingers so wanted to fix that as well. I had a twin bore stem and a few extra small 4 hole stingers laying around so I transferred the clove to my new stem and clocked a new stinger into it.

New twin bore stem fitted with new stinger, old stem ready to remove logo.

Old stem sawed off to get closer to logo.

So for us slow kids, did you lift the logo out and put it in the new stem or is that chopping down the old stem and connecting the bit with the logo?

Obviously it looks awesome, just trying to follow along from the back of the short bus.

If you look at the very last picture, you’ll see the logo on the tip of my finger. It was completely removed from the old stem and set into a hole drilled in the new stem and the negative space was filled with CA/lamp black.

I was restoring an old Kaywood a few months ago and that white logo fell completely out of the stem, of course I didn't notice for a while so I had no idea where it could have gone. I ended up filling in the empty clover with multiple layers of white nail polish until it was flush, and it turned out great lol. I then found the little white clover on underneath the refrigerator a couple weeks later of course.

Edited because you answered my question!
