Blends combining Virginia and burley have a probability of being successful. When I have done my own mixes, that is always a good bet, tweaked with whatever condiments you like -- cigar leaf, Cavendish, etc. This sounds like a good bet. It works either way, with Virginia or burley as the base, and the other as generous proportion of condiment.
I wonder if there is an expiration date in clamming the prize. Some poor chap cellars the the tin for 2 decades only to find sutliff no longer exists
