Being Sutliff, the last descriptor says it all. They weren't known for light aromatics and the Vanilla likely masked everything else in the blend.

Sutliff 310 Modern English would like to have a word. A super lightly-topped aromatic crossover, the bulk version of Edward G. Robinson.
Which is why I said not known for. A few times prior to being discontinued, shortages of EGR birthed a few threads of those unaware of the bulk. Non English cross over aromatics by Sutliff had the blend components sublimated by the toppings.

It's not listed among the Sutliff blends on Tobacco Reviews. The only Hemingway listed on the site is Tabaqueria Xian Hemingway, which is described as an aromatic ribbon cut made up of Burley with Rum and Vanilla flavorings and which was sold in Mexico. There are no reviews on it.
