Straus Tobacconist's Wenceslas

I heard about the phenomenon that was this house blend, Wenceslas, from Straus Tobacconist in the Greater Cincinnati area last year. People have been raving about it for a couple years now and I just put in an order for some myself. Has anyone else had this once a year Christmas special blend?

Straus does a good job with many of their house blends from what I hear from many of the pipe smokers in the YouTube Pipe Community. There seasonal blend, Sleepy Hollow was so popular they couldn't make it fast enough or enough of it. I have some of their Blue Chip blend which is a very nice blend. I've also had a couple aromatic blends that were okay, but didn't really do it for me. Wencelslas was one of those blends. Its nice, but I'm not a big aromatic guy so I gave it to a friend that enjoys aromatics.

I've had the sleepy hollow met these folks in Columbus last year. The blends are enjoyable and they are very nice people.

I've had Wenceslas a few times, top notch, but what I haven't been able to snag is Sleepy Hollow... I'm gonna get it next year for sure.

Had my first go with Sleepy Hollow back in September of 2015. Got to have a bowl in the Straus shop. Ended up having them send 8oz back to my home in Vegas lol.
