Whilst reading some reviews of Supertramp's excellent debut album of 1970 I read this very odd review....here it is in its entirety.
"Also I became classics of this genre. The beautiful Own style, didn't disregard fans, but the first album isn't similar to the subsequent masterpieces. In it for the present there is no recognizable figure. And nevertheless this album is good. In it musicians put a lot of heart and soul. It costs independently, it is melodious and beautiful. And of course will decorate your collection."
I thought perhaps the reviewer might be a non native English speaker but then wondered if it might be one of those computer generated things one reads about.
I looked up the reviewer 'Kayas' and saw another strangely worded review, this time for an album by Golden Earring....it goes thus...
"Golden Earring super group. Nearly forty years the players of group weren't changed. The talent only developed during time, since sixtieth years. But the talent was put initially and it is visible in an album Immediately. In it accretion and understanding of participants the Gold Ear ring is noticeable. 1969 gold Earrings double, LP (as republished on a 66-minute only disk) is competent granting a big variety of mountain styles of the period. It simply usually, late - the rock of the 60th, of course is more skilled, than the majority of the groups working in the non English speaking countries at that time, but not high distinction, also. It simply corresponds, without outstanding songs or separate aroma, but already with the style."
'Mountain styles', 'separate aroma', what a load of gobbledegook!
Some of the wording kind of makes sense but what strange sentence construction and word usage though very good spelling.....anyone else think this is so called AI at work?
Regards,
Jay.
