I just bought six pounds of PS Luxury Navy Flake, and it came in four 1 1/2 pound boxes, sealed in plastic.

I’d rather not store this in Mason jars unless it’s necessary. I like the idea of just leaving it in the factory box.

I can store in my home or office which will remain close to 70 degrees constant temperature but with fluctuating humidity, or in my attic in the garage or in an old milk barn, which will subject it to zero degree cold in winter and 100 degree heat in summer, again with varying humidity.

What should I do with it?

I’m open to suggestions, and any advice will be appreciated.

Mylar or jars is what is about to be suggested!

But that's allot of glass. How much of it do you plan on smoking in say a week?

That's usually how I buy that blend. I just open one to smoke. In a month or so it's gone and I open another. It'll keep fine, sealed, for months. At least that's my experience. Four boxes would last me near on six months as I smoke a couple of other blends at the same time.

What should I do with it?
I'd say, smoke and enjoy.

I live in Las Vegas. It’s all jarred. When I bought five pounds six years ago it was on killer sale.

I went to the store and bought 4 cases of pint mason jars.

They stack easy, especially using the cardboard base included for free.

I bought it specifically for aging. This year I’ve started cracking open jars.

Money well spent.

I've not bought five pounds of any blend, but I'd say Mylar was the best solution for that quantity. Otherwise, it's a world of jars.
