Not sure if its overpriced but they have an 8oz bag for $60 plus shipping.
Overpriced????? That's the definition of it!! I normally see it for $30-$32 a bag......
But if he can get it more power to him!!

While I didn't really have a good experience when I went there if you're really that interested I could see what they are selling it for in store and ship it your way for maybe less.

Not that I want to encourage price gouging for hard-to-get blends, but I wouldn't have any problem whatsoever paying $60-80 for a bag of Stonehaven. Roughly speaking, $80/bag would work out to about $1/bowl. (I normally get about 20 bowls from a 2oz tin.) And $1 for a 30-45 minute smoke is still the cheapest game in town. Never mind that you're getting high-quality tobacco in a highly regarded blend that is in perpetually short supply.

I would never pay that and I think it is out and out gouging. I have no problem paying a premium for aged SH as I recently paid 83 a pound for 3 pounds of 2007 stock, but not 120 a pound for fresh stuff.
I got lucky in the last distribution as I missed out on all the sellers, except 4noggins who saved me a bag. I had a trading buddy grab me two bags for retail as well. I now have another 1.5 pounds to add to the cellar and I am half way home of my goal to have 15 pounds in stock.

Harris,

You wouldn't happen to know anyone who has a bag available? lol
I'm curious to try it but I'm certainly not going to spend that kind of money. I was too slow when smokingpipes got it in stock the other day.

fitzy, sorry, no idea who has any but you can do what I have done and post in search of SH trades at the other pipe sites. I have gotten all of mine like that except the one bag from 4noggins. It does take time and effort but I think the stuff is worth it. You can also start calling small mom and pops stores in the low tax states, I have gotten most of my SG flakes that way.
