Stuff and Things STG update
Seems that the information is as legit as anything I've heard. Definitely a kick to the nuts.

So, it's ok if I continue to refer to STG as those evil cocksucking fucks, as they destroy their own industry to ensure that no one else makes tobacco products.Sutliff equipment will be scrapped so competitors can not get it.
I'll join you in referring to them as such. So, it's ok if I continue to refer to STG as those evil cocksucking fucks, as they destroy their own industry to ensure that no one else makes tobacco products.
Even more reason to only buy from C&D from now on.
Yeh, can you imagine how excited they must be to fall under P&C's reputation as of late. If I were the employees, I'd hone that resume.I guess one "winner" is pipesandcigars.com; both tobaccopipes.com and cup a joes websites will now move to pipes and cigars website.
It's not unusual that European companies use English on their quarterly reports and financial reports. In Finland the publicly traded companys use both English and Finnish. I would be surprised if the STG would only use danish.I'm really curious as to why all of STG's posted minutes and financial reports are in English on their website. Even the PDFs. If someone in Denmark goes to this exact same website, do they see it in Danish or English? It just seems unusual for a European company to use a non-native language for their financial reports.

Maybe for their classics, but there are still several companies that will sell bulk whole leaf tobaccos. If they feel like learning how to be real tobacconists. Meaning, how to shred or press their leaf. And, using uncased tobaccos from scratch.blenders like Wilke and others will now loose the source material for other classics.
A lot of European business is conducted in English; it’s the current lingua francaIf someone in Denmark goes to this exact same website, do they see it in Danish or English? It just seems unusual for a European company to use a non-native language for their financial reports.
Unfortunately not a win for anyone that orders bulk from P&C as opposed to Tobacco Pipes or Cup O Joes. Last orders from P&C I had bulk included in, they were dry as the Sahara desert. That and they stopped putting the blend name on the bags, just an in house code. Guess it will only be Smokingpipes and the B&M online shops once they shut down CoJ and TP, for me at least. If anyone has had dealings with Sportsmans Guide, P&C has the same business style. Never got any of my P&C cash either. Really wished it was being consolidated to TobaccoPipes instead.I guess one "winner" is pipesandcigars.com; both tobaccopipes.com and cup a joes websites will now move to pipes and cigars website.
Well, Lane is already owned by STG, isn't it?It may be that C&D will be able to fill the nitche left in the destruction of Sutliff and I am guessing Lane - although we haven’t heard much about them.
