Stem broke off in my macarthur. Help.

Arg. I'd just set down for a smoke 30 minutes ago and noticed a wobbling; the whole end snapped off inside the shank. Needle-nose pliers couldn't extract the chunk, it's that tight. Any ideas how to get it out? This is an emergency.

Try to turn a wood screw in to it so You have something to pull on.

If it is stuck put it in the freezer for 10 min.

Bummer on the broken stem. Same things happened to me a few weeks ago, right when I was about to have a smoke, too.

Take a hammer, preferably of the ball peen variety, and...oh, wait, I see you've fixed it already. Nevermind!
