Started smoking again, after years of cigarettes and no time,now driving anywhere from 4-6 hours a day for work

I got a cheap 40 dollar briar pipe. And now ive got a delectable virginia latakia blend. Today I realized i wasn’t packing my pipe tight enuff because im a little rusty, and today i finally got a full smoke from one bowl without it going out. It was a long glorious smoke. Felt like i had eaten a full meal afterwards. Altho I’m a little worried about burnout and uneven cake(never had a thought about it before when i smoked pipe as my smoke game was strong).

Welcome back... again. Don't worry about having to relight, it's part of the game. The fact that you mentioned driving, no relight and burnout, makes me wonder if you're smoking with a breeze blowing on the pipe. If so, that's a good way to cause a burn out.
