Is there a blend of Gawith Hogarth's that is an equivalent or very similar of Squadron Leader?

No. SL has Turkish tobacco in it and I'm not aware of any GH latakia blend that has that. I think SG's latakia blends, i.e., Skiff, SL, Commonwealth and Perfection have a house taste that is unique.

Not GH but Stokkebye english oriental supreme may be a suitable alternative.

GH&Co used to be more focused on Lakelands, so you'll see a lot of different virginia blends as opposed to English/Balkans. Maybe something like Latakia Mixture would be close, but I've not had any of this blend since the merger.

Squadron Leader always felt like a milder Nightcap to me, maybe something like Maltese Falcon would be a close alternative.

I think Maltese Falcon is a bit stronger and you have that ginger. Maybe Sasieni Balkan? Or Presbyterian?
