In estate pipe evaluations on smokingpipes.com, they often list spider webbing in the bowl.
Does this occur in most pipes that are smoked over time, or is it a defect that emerges over
time? I have pipes I bought new that I have had for decades, and I don't see any spider webbing
in those. Is spider webbing a deal breaker, or a reason to expect a significant price break, or
nothing at all?
