Love a lot of the "fresh" stuff, but its nice to have some stuff with a few years on it stocked away as well, just making sure i get enough of the new I like so it becomes the stuff with a few years on it.

That happens more quickly than you'd think plus aging doesn't affect tobacco enough for me to notice much difference. Then there's the "is it the age, or the year of the tobacco?"

Run into that with cigars all the time, some years the crops were fantastic and every cigar rolled with that years crops were amazing even if they were the current years date code.
