Thompson Cigar had a sale on Sparrow tobacco, and I'd read a pretty good review of it, so I took a chance and ordered a pound of the Original Blend - and I'm really glad I did.
The aroma of the leaf in the bag is absolutely heavenly, and the flavor is almost as good as the aroma. I'm going to enjoy making this one of my all-day tobaccos.
I don't know about room note, because it's hard to objectively rate the aroma of the smoke when I'm the one smoking it.
I'd rate it at least a 7.5 out of 10. Definitely impressive for a bargain tobacco.
