Spam Private Message

Thought a mod may want to check this out. Received a message from a user "disinformatique" stating:
"Bro, Check out www.estatebriarpipes.dk this guy has the biggest collection of estate pipes from many good brands in his collection and are under $100 including shipping which is like $8. Also he has super expensive Dunhills and other brands as well. go check him out. I have 4 of pipes (Jeantet, Stanwell, Erik Nording) Cheers, Chris"
I have no idea what he is talking about, so I assume this is spam.

That same user is commenting on a lot of forum posts, but is actually making somewhat sensible sentences. Grant it, this could be just so people think he is legit.
He may be here for the wrong reason.

8O Wow. Pretty judgmental little group here. Maybe something the OP said triggered an unsolicited PM in an effort to be helpful. Perhaps some words of introduction would have been proper, but hey, let's go easy until we have an explanation.
Also, disinformatique once posted that he is in India. There may be cultural issues at play here.

This guy has been using the pipe boards to market his site for years but as far as I know the using PM to spam is new for him. 8O

I've exchanged pm's with him about blending and he hasn't mentioned anything about any site. He's in India. I don't see the spam content or why it's percieved he should brown nose the forum so he can have good internet bro's. You guys all talk about what a great welcoming community you are.

I think the PM was meant to inform him, not spam him?

He was just trying to find him some pipes for under $100, no harm done here...........
