There are no bans, just a lack of interest.
The last pipe shop in Brazoria County closed at the beginning of this year.
Unfortunate. Seems all good tobacco shops are going the way of the dodo. Only a few left in large cities.

I've heard of a group that meets in Victoria - but they meet primarily to talk religion.

The sole pipe shop in the entire county has been replaced by multiple vape shops in every town.

I stopped by one a few weeks back and had an interesting conversation with the very stoned owner, who suggested that we use flavored e-liquids to create some new tobacco blends (cotton candy, bubblegum, et cetera).

Pass on that discusting idea...

Yeah, everything is all about vapes, bongs, and no self control.

I'll take a good old whole tobacco blend over artificial substances any day.

Think of it like consuming pills for nutrients vs consuming good quality whole foods...

I'll take the whole leaf over the "pen". I bet in 20 years the negative effects of over exposure to man made substances will outweigh the effects of consuming nature made substances.
