I think that P&C briefly stuck it on back-order a few months ago, but it went back in-stock quickly. Maybe you ordered then, and they lost track of your order, but they've had it listed in stock for weeks, if not a couple or three months now, since then.

Is this a rare one? I know a BM which has several aged tins gathering dust on a shelf...maybe I try one out

I would go that route as I find the 14 and 09 stuff that I have to be much better than the 16 that I have. Never bought newer than that, as a result. I'm still holding court as to whether or not the 16 will become as good with some more age.
