I'm looking for some Dunhill pipes to expand my collection and some people have told me that the wood in the early Dunhill pipes is better than the current ones and that the limited edition wood is better than the non-limited edition .....

Are there any posts or websites where I can learn more?

Not sure what your budget is, but a forum member had some excellent earlier pieces for sale recently. Here’s the link

I have one Dunhill and it is from 1966. I bought it mostly because I think it is one of the best examples of how a Billiard should be made. The grain is nothing special, but I feel the shape is. It is an LB model. It was in pristine condition and I think I paid around 250.00 for it.
