Just picked up a couple 8oz boxes of 1792, other boxes and 8 oz bags available.
I just ordered a pound of Creme Brûlée (for everyday, all day, office consumption), a box of 1972, and a variety of tins of tobaccos like Capstan and Squadron Leader.

Deep in Spout Spring Hollow, two miles from Dunnegan, I intend to leave an empty can of Squadron Leader under an overhanging rock.

That ought to make cultural anthropologists of the future wonder how in the hell did some hillbilly get ahold of such fancy tobacco?.:)

SmokingPipes is our friend.

You can smoke the good stuff from around the world, delivered to your door.

I got the email the other day a bunch of sg was in stock. Unfortunately the sight broke and I missed all of the plug cuts. Still got a box each of commonwealth, 1792, and Balkan flake. Love this time of year!

Does the tobacco in the boxes come in one 8 oz bag, or does it come in individual tins?

In Humansville Missouri a middle eastern immigrant owns the only liquor store in town and he peddles little bottles of Fireball, 20 for a twenty dollar bill and change back. The local kids buy them like candy bars, using straw buyers, and the empties litter the streets in front of the store.

For less money, either $15 or $18, I can treat myself to little colorful tins of the most exotic imported tobaccos imaginable, and take a $10 bill to the local liquor store and buy a $3 bag of ice and a $3.50 package of Half and Half and a $2 package of 24/7 cigarettes and be set for a weekend at the farm in my camper.

Sinning is cheap in the Ozarks.

A $44 8 ounce box of 1792 will last me years and years, down at the farm.

But in two days time I’ll smoke up a tin of Squadron Leader to leave under a rock in a place it might be a century or two, before it’s found again.

Before we whine over the high price of little tins of English tobacco, I wonder how much 20 Fireballs would cost in London, or one package of Half and Half?

I just picked up two 8oz boxes of 1792 flake and looking at these pictures makes me wonder if they can just be left in the original packaging for aging now.
They might be fine. Plastic can be porous, so it is a risk that long-term storage may have negative results. To be certain, like @Tar Wheel stated, you can store them in a different, more permanent option.

I personally like to use half gallon, quart, and. 12 oz. Jelly mason jars. Never have any issues with them other than space!

Are there advantages to using Mylar bags, and are they resealable if you want to try your stash?

Jars take up more space than mylar bags. If you are cellaring a lot, it can help tremendously for space and money. The jars can add up the more items you jar. I currently do not have enough jars for all of the 1792 flake I purchased so I just put them in vacuum sealed bags for storage.
