'Smoking Opponents Take Fight Outside in Chattanooga'

From Thursday's Chattanooga Times Free Press in Tennessee:
"There's always been the great outdoors: Smoking is still permitted in Chattanooga parks and public spaces. That's exactly where anti-tobacco advocates have their sights set next."

But they don't mind at all the smoke,soot and pollution from the cars and trucks running back and forth on the street.

Well that just sucks! I live right up the road in Cleveland , TN, but I do frequent Chattanooga and its parks. Maybe not for long! Damn tobacco nazis!

Precisely. To get to my job, I have walk past 100 yards of school buses idling and discharging 2000 students. The clouds of diesel exhaust are suffocating, and I always think about the particulates in the exhaust versus what a tobacco pipe produces.
Drives me crazy.
