Hello,

I’m from Portugal and I live in the Azores Islands in the middle of the Atlantic.

Started smoking pipes a little bit more than a year ago. I have some pipes in my rotation, as I like to vary the feelings and sensations that each one, in pair with the tobacco, as to offer.

I appreciate Latakia the most.

Hoping to learn much more with you all.

Wish you all a great 2025.

Best regards

Hallo and welcome from Ludlow in England. I too am in the process of discovering which pipes in my rotation best suit the ever-increasing kinds of blends I smoke, and this in itself, I find, is a pleasure almost equal to the simple act of smoking a pipe. I look forward to reading your thoughts on this in future.

I am from British Columbia and have been a pipe smoker from my early twenties. Most of my dozen pipes are bent billiards. My oldest pipe is the exception. It is a large Oom Paul BBB (Best British Briar) and dates from 1911 - see picture attached. It smokes like a dream. My three favourite tobaccos are: Capstan Flake, Erinmore Flake and MacBaren Scottish Mixture. I just ordered a tin of Royal Yacht for the first time - it should be an interesting smoke.BBB.JPG

Welcome from Michigan. My wife and I have visited your Island chain twice, visiting four Islands. A wonderful place.

What is your personal favorite Latakia blend?

My rotating home screen on my iPhone just showed me a picture from the Azores. What a coincidence.
