Finally back in Sorrento after a few days in Ischia without a wifi connection...Great time in Ischia- the thermal baths where the boiling water at the cliff base meets the cold seawater is amazing. We stayed at Punta Chiarito, a resort where all the food came from a farm they own- the honey, tomatoes, wine, and mozzarella. Didn't hear a word of English for three days...Michelin rated restaurant...that allowed smoking. As a matter of fact- pipe smoking was not a problem at any of the restaurants that we ate at in Sorrento, Ischia, and Capri (not inside, but OK on outside dining. Forget about pipe tobacco- bought 40g of Mac Baren Original in the pouch...and that was the only marginally OK pipe tobacco I found. Headed to Naples tomorrow to a full blown Pipe Shop- I'll take pics...!
