Smoked My First Barling's

Got an old Barling's Make "Ye Olde Wood" for a sweet deal yesterday. After an easy clean up last night...I had my first smoke today and it definitely lived up to the hype. This will now be in my regular rotation. Happy Holiday's all.

Love them pots (pot shaped tobacco pipes that is). They're especially good for tobacco in bigger pieces,

like Sutliff's Great Outdoors. I have a Greek briar Amadeus that fills that role well.

I've never had the pleasure of owning a family Barling. Having studiously focused on other groups to collect and smoke. However, I am intrigued. And am definitely biding my time for the right one to come along. Enjoy.

That's a lovely pipe, Dixie. I've got several of the saddle bit styles and enjoy their look.

Congratulations on a nice purchase! Pots were a favored shape. I love 'em. You can smoke just about anything in a Barling pot. Enjoy in good health!
