Hello all, greenhorn here with a question...
This passed weekend I noticed smoke exiting the mouthpiece of my pipes. I smoked a bowl out of two different pipes and it happened with both pipes. I cannot recall if it only occurred at the bottom of the bowl, but I do know that no smoke exited the mouthpiece at the beginning of either bowl.
Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

I find that I get that pretty often so I'm curious to know the answer to this as well. I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong but heck who knows?

Dude...you are constantly drawing smoke through that thing and the tobacco is constantly smouldering...of course you should expect to see smoke emanating from any orifice in such a smoking instrument. Not to worry, it is perfectly normal. I kind of like to watch the smoke when that happens, but I am a clencher so I rarely get to see it.
