Where is a decent place to buy a smaller pipe that wont cost a arm and a leg? Danish pipe store is a touch out of my league for pricing.

Why not smokingpipes? You can use their pipe finder function to sort search results by chamber depth, chamber diameter, length, and more as well as price.

Scott Klein's burner series has a number of small, light, options for under $50, the tomatoes are particularly small. Tobaccopipes.com actually had them at $25 for a minute there, but that might have just been after black friday.

How much is an arm and a leg? You can regularly find <$50 pipes most places these days.

There's a whole bunch of Missouri Meerschaum corn-cobs and you can upgrade the stems on those later on. Those are literally $10-20 range (or less).

eBay can come up with some great unsmoked / estates for small dollars. I got a nice rusticated Luigi Viprati from Italy for $40 shipped. Is that more than you want to pay? I've bought unsmoked estates with decent brands for way less. Look for budget brands like Dr.Grabo (Polish) or Gorode (Belgian).

Pipenook and others sell unfinished Savinelli's <-- click here.

My local B&M sells seconds that are cheap, but they also have small church-wardens for $40-65.

If you are referring to the mini pokers on the website, they aren't expensive because of the shop, it's because they are Eltangs. Tom Eltang is a world famous pipe maker and the Eltang brand is an expensive one.
On the same site you'll find Savinelli Minuto for around 100$ apiece and Chacom Campus for 60$. And more.
Why do you want mini pipes?

Check out Savinelli: Lolita series, they may be a good fit also I thought they had a starter kit with a red bag and some accessories but I can find them on the SP site.

Restored, classic British makes are going for as low prices as I've seen. I'll take one of these (Comoy's/GBD) over a new, modern low-end pipe any day.
I don't think you define "small". For my taste, small would be 50 grams or less.
I noticed a beautiful Comoy Blue Riband on Ebay recently, went for just a little over the $100.00. I would say prices are down.

If you like the Eltang basic poker type pipes, you might want to check out Nording Compass. They are mostly less than $50 on SP, i think. The Scott's Pipes burner series has to be one of the best deals in piping, and they are pretty petite. Another great deal is Rossi, but their pipes are very much not petite. You can get a Rossi Vittoria, made by Savinelli, for just over $40.

If you like Danish pipes, I would recommend Johs. Most of his pipes are less than $100, which is excellent value for handmade pipes. And of course, Stanwells come in many styles for less than a hundo.

I've found some nice mini pipes on Ebay. A few nice estates that didn't need much cleaning and a couple nice unsmoked nos pipes that were ready to fire up after a quick wipe down. All under $20 US.
