Proof positive that "correct" pipe smoking situations are in the mind of the smoker, thankyouverymuch.

This guy was the only capable whale slicer-upper (the proper term is flenser) anyone knew when a half dozen blue whale carcasses washed ashore and made their nearby town uninhabitable, so they hired him to dispose of the critters.

Sleecy slicey, deecey dicey...

That would be probable if it was just one but there is six.

Pods of them (they travel in groups) apparently get lost in shallow water occasionally, then the tide goes out and they're stranded. (Yes, they can breathe air directly---they have lungs not gills---but soon suffocate from their own unsupported weight.)

This instance was in the North Sea, on a Netherlands island beach.

Beaching themselves unintentionally seems like it is the culprit.

In the semi-rural NorthEastern USA
I’ll bet no one on that beach was offended by or complained about the smell of that guy’s pipe.
oh there is always one. If there is a situation where only a complete lunatic would complain some how that freaking lunatic finds their way there. I know in my heart of hearts that in the Neolithic age someone would go into the caves being painted and nit pik their work or complain about how much prettier a natural rock is....
