I just received my order of Nor'Easter from Watch City, and I must say I really the cut. As many of you probably know it's like thick (thicker than a flake) slices of a crumble cake. Very nice to work with and I like the qualities of it. I searched tobaccoreviews on cut, and noticed that slices is not mentioned (tobacco I know comes in this form, such as Bengal Slices, Watch City's slices, get listed as cakes or flakes).

Besides Watch City Nor'Easter and Bengal Slices, are there other blends with this particular sort of cut? Again, they're like very thick flake, but actually seem to be sliced cake/plug.

As far as I know all of the other watch city flakes are the same cut too. Interesting that the above blends come out of the Sutliff factory,
Yeah I'm referring to "slices" not flakes. The last thing I want to deal with is thicker flakes. I avoid anything sold as a flake (at least the heavily-cased European ones) because it's like I have to have a have a shrine of drying flakes on my deck just to be able to smoke the darn things.

I had forgotten this tin of SPC Hood Canal I had opened. That's got the thick cake/slice thing going. As a side note, the blend that got me started on this thread, WC Nor'Easter seems to be a near match to Hood Canal.
