Fred really out-did himself on this one.
This is an in-depth article that will tell you everything you need to know about all the different ways to color a Meerschaum Tobacco Pipe.

I have indeed been a slave to this goddess for some time. lol
Love it, and now I know where and how to get them so nicely colored. The friend who introduced me to pipes said a 'couple' years. He was like 60, maybe he had a time thing going on?

Great article and pics. Try as I have, I just cannot enjoy smoking a meer, I guess I am a slave to briar. I have some gorgeous meers as I think they are great looking, but they mostly are art in my house and rarely ever get smoked.

Writing these articles has been a lot of fun and a joy to find that others

like them. These writings represent the collective efforts of the All Things

Meerschaum Group to separate fact from myth regarding these white Pipes and

their culture, which continues today. These topics of acquiring, caring for

and coloring Meerschaums are quite popular, among the many subjects discussed.

Thanks again guys for your interest and responses.
