med's usually take 6mm paper filter similiar and interchangeable with Dr Grabow, i have a med VFQ which i believe is pretty much top of the line for a med i think they range from 16.00 to $30.00, I do say, they provide an extremely dry smoke

You mean the ones with the silver overlay?

I see 3 of them currently listed with Buy Now prices of 130, 120 and 70.

I've seen these occasionally on the bay and always thought they were well... ugly.
Medicos, to my knowledge, are in line with Grabows with respect to quality. But those with the silver overlays, not for me.

The ones with the silver Egyptian looking work on them?!?!? If so, I purchased one for $45 a few months back. I couldn't imagine paying the prices you guys are quoting!!!!

I doubt they would stand up to rigors of smoking much anyhow. Marty Pulvers had a similar up for sale a while back can't remember the price, but I don't believe it was anywhere near that high. With all that being said, if someone really enjoys medicos it might be a good display piece so the inlay doesn't rub off.
