I was recently intrigued by "EP in a diamond" stamping on a silver band. It also had LWM hallmarks as well. I have consolidate pictures of three pipes with the "EP". One is form a member here. I think tuold, and the other two are mine. Im not sure but the Swiss DrySmoker might not be LWM. However in my research I believe I have found the answer to why different pipe makers have the same "EP" on the band.
It probably means "Electro Plated". A way to distinguish pure silver from plated. HTH in any research others are doing.
