Pipes that I personally find aesthetically unappealing never tempt me to open my wallet.
My old MM Ozark is pretty beat up but it smokes like a dream.

This oddly carved E. Oslo pipe is a secondary line made by Micoli from factory pipes he gets and then "modified" by him. I think I liked it because it looked rather ugly, but it does smoke really well.

I think in class of ugly pipes it is hard to beat the ones Olie Sylvester was selling in 2010's.
This is my Turdiest Marxman. I like the rustic look but I understand this pipe is ugly as hell to most. It smokes like a dream and is honestly one of my favorite pipes.
